Why do we need to Integrate Salesforce with an external system ? - Part 1

Week 1 - Day 1

A Books management company would like to store their data in Salesforce. So Radical Team , Books company team up and form "RADICAL BOOKS"

Client - I have certain data which needs to be stored in your system.

Radical Team - Well , share us the data in the form of an CSV , we could upload it into our system.
Infact it will be safe and secure. Our data management is very robust.

Client - Ok cool. All the old data will be shared with you as discussed in a CSV format. But we have new data which keeps on generating in our system and even updates would happen on the old data.

Radical Team - Hmmm....

Client - So , How are we going to approach this situation and is it possible in Salesforce to achieve this functionality ?

Radical Team - Well in this case , we need our systems to talk and share information on real time basis.

Client - Real time basis ?

Radical Team - Yes, When ever any sort of updates or new data is being created in your system , we need to be informed and capable of receiving your data on real time basis.

Client - Great ! Can this real time scenario materialize ?

Radical Team - Yes ! Absolutely . It is called Data Integration. We have done this before and can be done again.
